Senior IT Card Management System

Job Responsibilities

  • System Design and Development: Lead the design, development, and implementation of card management systems to support card issuance, transaction processing, and account management.
  • Integration Management: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to integrate the card management system with other banking and financial systems, ensuring seamless data flow and operations.
  • Performance Monitoring: Continuously monitor and analyze system performance, user feedback, and emerging trends to implement enhancements and optimize card processing efficiency.
  • Security and Compliance: Ensure that card management systems comply with industry standards and regulations, including PCI-DSS, EMV, and relevant local laws. Implement robust security measures to protect sensitive customer data.
  • Project Leadership: Lead cross-functional projects related to card management, providing technical expertise and strategic direction throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Incident Management: Oversee the troubleshooting and resolution of technical issues related to the card management system, ensuring minimal impact on operations.
  • Vendor Relationship Management: Liaise with vendors and service providers related to card processing technologies and negotiate contracts as necessary to enhance system performance and support.
  • Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation for system architecture, configurations, and operational procedures, ensuring knowledge transfer within the team.
  • Training and Mentorship: Provide training and mentorship to junior IT staff on best practices in card management system operations and technology usage.
  • Project Management: Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables related to card management systems,
  • Experience with project management methodologies.
  • Familiarity with cloud technologies and environments (e.g., AWS, Azure) in the context of card management systems.
  • Knowledge of mobile payment solutions and digital wallet technologies
  • High proficiency in English knowledge
  • Perform other tasks as per business requirement as assigned by line manager

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in IT roles focused on card management systems, payment processing, or relevant financial services technologies.
  • Deep understanding of card management systems (e.g., FIS, ACI, or similar platforms) and related transaction processing technologies.
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory frameworks and compliance requirements (e.g., PCI-DSS, EMV standards).
  • Experience in system integration using APIs and middleware technologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex technical issues efficiently.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proven project management skills with experience leading technical projects from inception to delivery.
  • Be high integrity, accountability, and commitment.
