Job Responsibilities

  • Using operational expertise and bridging the gaps identified in day-to-day branch Tellers/ supervisor vault and Chief Tellers by direct or indirect monitoring and supervision.
  • Ensuring operational and cash management controls are effective across all branches on an ongoing basis.
  • Enforce process discipline and policy compliance in cash management and remittance.
  • Prevent process deviations by doing root cause analysis and putting in preventive and corrective actions in place.
  • Conducting an audit and ensuring safekeeping / timely dispatch to cash operations, value document, vault management, remittance, cheque other bank operations (Receive, Clear, return) and booking data in system.
  • Ensuring improvement in the quality scores of teller functions such as clearing-house, cash management and remittance, responsible for and adherence to teller process requirements with ongoing process & system changes.
  • Provide valuable inputs towards system and process changes (task related) to eliminate wastage and bring in additional controls. Carry out UAT’s on system changes and share valuable inputs with Technology teams.
  • Work closely with Manager, Operations Support Unit to train/refreshment branch staff and also responsible for developing of system and process changes (Task related) related new products and services and ensure appropriate training has been imparted before enhancements going live.
  • Update all related cash management, cash control data, fund management and fund control data with remittance process for all branches and report to Head of Operations Daily Basis.
  • Control all remittance, clearing house of branch transactions/issues and report to Head of Operations on a daily basis.
  • Review of sample cases on a day-to-day basis to ensure quality and compliance with quality check parameters.
  • Manages Remittance, branch operations, solving All branch issues on time and reports to Head of Operations in daily basis.
  • Other tasks would be assigned by the Head of Operations.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum hold a bachelor’s degree in Finance and Banking, Accounting, or Business Administration.
  • At least 6 years’ experience in settlement and cash management for banks.
  • Well understanding of banking operations workflow and process and ability to develop banking operations policies and procedures and translate to actions.
  • Experience in developing SOPs or Guideline for banking operations.
  • Understand about vision, mission, core values, regulations, and other principles of HH Bank of Cambodia.
  • Be a good team player with a sense of responsibility and adaptability.
  • Ability prioritizes, multi-task and work well under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Experience in managing people and presentation skill.
  • Skills in managing, communicating, reporting, solving problems, and interpersonal skills.
  • High committed, proactive, confident and talent to work.
  • Good computer literacy (MS Word, Excel, Power Point, Email, and Internet).
  • High proficiency in English knowledge.
