HH BANK Celebrate Groundbreaking of Funan Techo Canal

The Funan Techo Canal Project that connects from Mekong River to the Cambodia Sea, passing through 4 provinces: Kandal, Takeo, Kampot and Kep, with 180 km length.

The Funan Techo Canal project will provide great benefits such as facilitating waterway transportation, saving time, especially reducing transportation costs and reducing roadway transportation. Facilitate traffic congestion as well as reduce procedures for ships and procedures for the transit of goods from Cambodia to the sea, the establishment of trade zones, special economic zones, the development of new satellite port, the expansion of agricultural development, irrigation and aquaculture.  Tourism helps relieve floods during the rainy season, increase freshwater fish production in canals and other investments.
